Last couple weeks,
Absolutely shredded oem passenger axle
Got a random ecu code that’s super random killed the car once and hasn’t been back since
Started pi tuning, 2 revisions in so far
awesome I’ll get that memebership, I’m still trying to figure out a p0172 code, I fixed a whole bunch of vacuum leaks and it didn’t change anything. I’m thinking maybe leaking fuel injector but they were just serviced before I put them in
I went through the whole harness after the flood, I used electrical cleaner and dielectric grease on everything and the harness was unplugged and drying for a week, when you say check the connectors do you mean for corrosion or with a multimeter? I don’t know which wires are for what
Hey guys, so I’m having an issue in my 2010 tech pack, my car flooded not long ago and my amp was underwater. My radio wasn’t making any noise no matter what source I chose, I got a used amp and swapped it in and the radio worked for a whole 2 minutes before it was breaking up and then back to...
yeah definitely a nightmare but everything seems to be good, got some vacuum leaks to find this weekend as my left are -14 at idle, high vacuum and closer to 0 on all other conditions, hoping to start the pi tune soon
So my speed flooded 2 Fridays ago, water was up to the bottom of the shifter (the water got up higher then it is in the picture below), I got to work quick ripping everything out and cleaning and drying everything including the harness, got it started a couple days ago and everything seems good...
So after 6 long days in a hot ass garage the speed is back together with a built motor and lots of new mods, the most nerve racking part was installing the clutch since I had never done one before but everything went smooth and I got lucky the tranny popped right on, the intercooler was a pain...
I misread awa's suggestions, I thought he said dramtuned not purple drank, worked 12 hours in the heat wasn't all there. Purple drank is who im going with I've heard great things and my engine builder suggests him. As for justin, my last speed was tuned by him and was good however for this car...
lol no way anyone thinks that's serious, building my speed but I don't know I need a tune, I already ordered a tune from will and the tune that's currently on my car from justin is disappointing
Im putting the engine in from august 2-9 hopefully it will be up and running by the end of that time frame
here's the build list
-Forged engine, manley rods and platinum pistons
-GTX3076r ewg 44mm tial
-Full race em
-cobb catted dp
-cpe triton catback
-cx racing kit with tr8
-FoSt manifold with...
I 100% will, just don't know if ill do it right away, I found a guy selling a full race EM, 3" TBE, gtx3076r, pi kit all used with 5000km within 80km of me so I think its a no brainer to buy his setup
I have watched those videos and am re watching them, that's where I saw him and I think nishan say that pump fuel requires a bigger turbo then having e85
This whole thread has gone in the wrong direction though I was mainly asking about your setups mainly those of you with 500whp and what mods...
my engine can handle 550, if I want more I can add headstuds and get to 650+, but like u said I want it as a street car and at certain point its unusable, my goal is right around 500
I don't have access to E85 so that limits me a lot, Pump gas can get me to 500 with a 8th port setup with a...
Don't really care too much about dyno numbers, roll races and back roads will be the main use.
Is the s5 more comparable to the cst6 or even that's not a comparison?
My plan is to max out stock fuel until next year, I want an st manifold as they flow the most equal compared to any other manifold we have available
As for stock flange turbo you mean bnrs and cst right? I was thinking bnrs5 or cst5 but im not set on anything
Will stock EM damage the engine...
I saw some flow tests for all the different manifolds on the forum I forget who posted it but the FoSt manifold is the best for equal flow I just don’t know how much having unequal flow really affects things
As for corksport I don’t have any experience with any of their products but I’ve heard...
I’m going with Beltec performance we’re gonna work out the price but I’m going with him he’s built many engines and is starting to pick up. The engine in my car now was built by him and ran great and the issue with it isn’t his fault.
I’m confident it’ll be a solid motor and of course will be...
