    I still love my MazdaSpeed6

I don’t even recall seeing a Speed3 until after I bought my car. I wanted AWD, anyway. Now that you mention it, though, I have been keeping my eye out for a clean, unmolested first gen Speed3. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I still love my MazdaSpeed6

For the last few years, I’ve been running Mobil 1 5W-30 High Mileage. I can usually find it for about $25 for 5 quarts at Walmart or on Amazon. I’ve never done anything with the HPFP but it is on my list. I rarely beat on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 165K miles. With business...

    I still love my MazdaSpeed6

In 2006 I wanted to buy a new car. My wife drove new cars, but I had always been happy with used cars until that point. I looked at the Subaru WRX STi and Mitubishi Evo, but didn't like the boy racer looks (I was 40 at the time) and the extra $10k price. I knew I wanted something AWD and...

Mazdaspeed6 OEM strut and shock recommendations?

OK, thanks for the recommendation. INVALID below suggests the springs have settled, which may be true. It doesn't look saggy in the back to me, but I'll take another look. Thanks for the tip about ensuring that any new springs are not for the regular Mazda 6.

Mazdaspeed6 OEM strut and shock recommendations?

Yes, that's my car in the photo. I'm the original owner and I don't plan to ever sell the car, even if it gets retired from daily driver duty. Springs have never been changed. I didn't consider the possibility that the springs have sagged. I'll have to look at some old photos. Thanks for...

Mazdaspeed6 OEM strut and shock recommendations?

I'm looking for recommendations for front struts and rear shocks for my MS6. I like the ride and handling of the OEM parts and am looking for best source for OEM parts or similar. With 163k miles, is there any reason to replace the original springs? I do not want to lower the car.

    New MS6 member in Houston

Hi all, original owner of 06 MS6 with 154k miles. It’s been a reliable daily driver in totally stock condition, but it’s time for some maintenance/repairs (A/C clutch and bearing needed now). I look forward to researching the threads here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How-To Replace A/C Compressor Clutch and Bearing

06 MS6 154k miles, A/C clutch bearing has started to make noise and A/C not cooling like it used to. Looks like a great writeup above. As mentioned by ReanimationXP, can anyone recommend a source for a good quality A/C clutch and bearing kit? I don't really want to buy the whole compressor...
