Lil over 4200 miles already. But luckily our house in Louisville should be up for sale soon.
Drive from akron,OH to Louisville, KY last night. Pretty much steady 80mph the entire way. Pretty solid for this large a vehicle!
Got these on Amazon for $38.
They fit well and are leagues better than the included carpet mats and a hell of a lot cheaper than the OEM Mazda ones or name brand stuff

Definitely wouldnt be surprised if a joint toyota/mazda sports car happens (supra or otherwise)! Just glad straight 6's havent all but disappeared!
I6 RWD platform is a recipe for some exciting stuff
Agreed. I feel the PHEV only makes sense if your commute can be done on mostly EV mode and have charging at work. I've seen a few posts on the FB groups where folks are still on their original tank of gas over 1k miles in. But if you do majority of your travel over 55mph, the I6 just makes more...
Oh yeah, im sure the belt reminders are a federal requirement. Just sucks they can't be easily programmed off like the toyota. Oh well, super minor in the grand scheme of things!
First oil change today at 2650 miles. Would've liked to do it at 1k but didn't have the time.
Mazda oil filter and mobil1 dexos 0w20. Dealer will change the oil in another 5k for my free change, then I'll switch to a good rated DI Turbo friendly oil and do the rest myself
Not as aggressive on the downshifts as my dads 2016 cx5, but then again this thing has 2 more gears and loves to live below 2000rpm. I barely notice the downshifts unless im looking at the tach. And when i-stop is engaged, itll actually downshift thru the gears as you slow down with the engine...
I've forgotten how dumb non car enthusiasts are.
On one of the fb groups "why does the transmission downshift while slowing down to a stop like youre driving a manual transmission? "
