its in my ms6 still, and I checked it when I changed my oil and it was loose (cold). but after it got to operating temp there wasnt much play no grooves or anything on the valve cover. I felt along with my finger as well and didnt feel anything.

I have searched on the mazdaspeed forums, and found that the vvt chain should be tight when the engine is warm. what about when the engine is cold?

I always forget the Autotech internals lol. Those are in already, Ive taken em out to verify (and cleaned em). Ive got a unlimited the works carwash thing with Holiday, its touchfree and Ill usually get a wash every 2-3 days depending on weather
