07 MS3 Dome lights don't come on when door is open

So I installed a dash cam this weekend. Ran wires front to back. Now I can flip the switch and turn em on, but it no longer notices the door is open. Wtf. Any ideas?

I've had this issue for a while now, but its intermittent. Most of the time, only one bulb will light up even thought I've tested it in another car and it works fine. Hopefully someone has a fix

Switch is set to doors, ya dicks. Lights work switched to on. Just not to door.

Did not mess with wires but did run it along the headliner past rear door. I'm thinking I need to drop the friggin headliner

What happens when it's in the on position? Who needs the lights on when you open the doors? I always turn that shit off.

There is the wire that feeds to the door to light the circuit when the door is open. I'd check there first to see if you cut into one of those wires. What did you wire the camera into? Mess with any grounds?

Didn't hard wire but I used fish tape to pull wiring between drivers side front and rear doors. I'll probably drop the headliner tomorrow to take a peek.
