08 Speed injectors and valve issues

It all started when the car would die coming to a stop and idle. Changed the spark plugs and gapped them correctly which Ed helped it to start better but not stay running well. When starting it sounds okay but after 15-20 seconds it starts rattling badly from the valve cover area. Local shop pointed at the injectors because he could hear them leaking. However I don’t think that’s all that’s wrong and will be taking a look at the VVT as well. And because the intake manifold is off valve cleaning. Se pic

So I’ve got the engine bay in chaos as I’ve torn it down to the injectors. Three came out by hand and one is being stubborn. One was obviously leaking and the last possibly by exterior mess.

Anyone in the Phoenix (East Valley) area that has an injector puller to lend or rent?

Thanks for your time.

Got the last injector out the whole bore was caked and the injector doesn’t appear to have survived. Does anyone have experience with the GB remanufactured units? Can get from Rock for $123 w core charge. Otherwise am looking at acquiring 2 used and sending them all off for clean and flow testing.

I've seen some chatter about them seem to be OEM ones flow tested and cleaned. we use their seals around here all the time. personally I'd be inclined to try them, others may buy new only.
