Hello all,
I have a 2010 Mazdaspeed3. I went out of town for two weeks, and it was parked on a hill. When coming back, I tried to start it, but the battery was completely dead. I got it jump started, and the car still wouldn't start. However, when moved off the hill onto flat ground, the car started. We found the source of the battery dying, and took care of it. However, after driving completely fine for about ten minutes, it began to drive very roughly, with extremely noticeable loss of power. Using a scan tool we were able to find that injectors 2 and 3 were not firing. My first guess was the fuel pump/filter weren't working, so it was limiting the flow of fuel to the injectors, causing the ecu to maybe cut off two of the injectors. However, the fuel rail pressure was around 1000 psi at a 1k rpm idle, implying enough fuel was getting to the rail. I disconnected the battery, and pumped the brakes 5 times to drain all charge to hopefully reset the ECU, but that did nothing. We also tested the resistance of all 4 injectors at the harness, with all 4 reading 2.7 ohms.
I would really appreciate any insight onto what my issue could be.
