2013 Navigation screen blank

The other day, when I went to my nav screen, it was just black. I could see my speed at the bottom but that's about it. The settings screen worked, and all the screens not showing any maps. What the fuck happened?
 
Not sure if you can, but in the setting is there place to see if your getting a gps signal?
maybe your link to your antenna got pinched or cut.
Just thinking out loud don't have speed with gps.
 
Well it's correctly displaying my speed, so I think it's got a GPS lock. And besides, it often loses signal, and the screen never went blank before.

Strange indeed, hopefully someone with gps will chime in with answer for yeah
 
I have a '13 with the navigation, but I have no idea what could be causing the screen to be completely black. That is very odd.

So if I'm understanding this correctly - the part where it would show you the map, the vehicle and such... it is black. The outside border part where you see speed and other "settings" is fine. Am I correct?
 
Have you tried to reseat your map card in the center console?

Haven't tried anything. And that is correct. The map is the only thing that's black.

When I get home I'll get the directions posted for refreshing the nav after pulling the card. It isn't tough, but there is a process.

[doublepost=1470963424][/doublepost]Removed and reseated it with no effect; removed it again and locked the card, then reseated it and started the engine, it works again. So problem solved. Thanks guys!
 
Apparently my shitty Chinese Oneplus 3 phone doesn't want to upload documents anymore since it updated. Which is totally awesome. Here is the black screen stuff and if you search nb1 Mazda you should find the reset directions. Sorry that's not very helpful.
