So I have been chasing this CEL for a while now. I have changed the solenoid valve thingie and the CEL persists. It is also throwing a P2004 as a secondary code.
Sadly, I let Autozone scan it also. Same codes but there computer said change the VVT solenoid. I think that isn't right.
I only disconnected the battery to reset the light. Does that clear the P2009?
