Another Gen1 Speed3

Formerly had a 07 Speed3 I picked up around 2014. Over time I upgraded suspension and rear sway, swapped mazdaspeed cai for a corksport sri, and tuned with ap3. Then in late 2018 my motor blew due to unrealized low oil situation, 3 days before my scheduled oil change. Tears

I then picked up a 09 Civic SI, and less than a year later a guy plows into my rear end at a stop light totalling my Civic. Tears

Then I come across a silver 07 Speed3 for sale, one owner (older woman so car was super clean inside), and they had replaced the motor about 45k miles ago due to the same issue I'd had with mine.

So I picked up the silver Speed3. And I still have my broken down black speed so I've been slowly transferring my mods over and using it as a donor for any other parts I need.

Welcome back the speed! And whalecum to MSO! Don't be shy on the oil checks ;) I know some folks who check it everytime they fill up their tank and that's a good habit to be in (I'm certainly not that attentive to mine)

But seriously, welcome! Glad another speed 3 is getting some life. Mine had two owners before me, both (according to the seller) middle aged women. Why don’t we hear more from these outstanding women on these forums??
