Just a random question I had after checking out a friend's Speed3 with a slightly different setup than mine regarding the vacuum lines for the boost controller.
For context, I have an EWG and the setup below mirrors mine, with the exception of my wastegate being external rather than internal.

My question is my boost source is straight from the turbo, however my friend has his turbo nipple capped off and his boost source is T'd into the intake manifold line that runs to the BOV. I haven't seen a setup like this so I was curious the differences.
Is there any difference or improvement getting your boost source from the manifold versus the turbo?
