Bought 2004 MSM formerly used as a gambler 500 car

I am new to Miata. I bought this 2004 MSM in the spring this year. The car was heavily used and was modified to be a gambler 500 car. The seller said the head gasket was replaced shortly before I got it. I am not sure the head was machined before that because the head gasket blew on the way home. Also, the head bolts might have been reused a couple of times.

Someone before me had the crank main and rod surfaces machined 0.25mm. The bearings that came out look pretty decent. The cylinder walls look perfect and factory spec.

I got the head completely refurbished and am rebuilding the motor at the moment. Parts are ordered and on the way.
