Car starts then shuts off

I have done the timing and changed the head out of my speed6. Fater everything was back together the car starts goes into rough idle and ahuts off alone. While its on it makea a weird sound like a dry gear rotating sound. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated. It wont let me upload a vid. I will as soon as i cn
