Cobb AP New “green” tuning requirements

Yes, and sadly the future. Lived in California for most of my life in the SF Bay Area and having a 1985 Toyota with Headers and modified Air Intake and fuel map change passing smog was problematic. I kept all the stock stuff and reinstalled every other year....Until the Age of vehicle made it a special Smog Certification station to help create more hurdles to keeping a older CA complaint vehicle.
At least wasn't like the good old days in the early 70's when we had CARB retrofitted Ignition advance kit.
Modifications to keep (?) NOX low I think.
I just cared at that point of having a ride with a gas tank with fuel...I was the sit in Gas Station line even/odd days fill up driver too.
Suddenly our 69 Olds Vista Cruiser was a ignition key off diesel ...man that stunk. Also in the bay area sniffers were deployed in the field to catch non compliant vehicles.... O the days of leaded gas, Benzine, Nitro that could be easily bought.
