Custom fab fmic??

So I thought of an idea and I'm not sure if it could work or if it would work any better than now, but is it possible to relocate your stock tmic and move it to a fmic location? Is it possible or is it gonna allow anymore airflow?? Just wondering cause like I said it was just a random idea that popped into my head and I'm not finding anything on if anyone's tried this before or not let me know. I'm totally willing to give it a shot if it's got a chance of being worth it

The shape would be a problem, I'd think. Airflow has to be guided (as it is on the hood for the TMIC), and you'd have none of that if you just moved it to in front of rad fmic style.

Look at the outlet side of the TMIC. The hole is square and not very large. It is somewhat of a bottle neck because it isn't really a smooth transition.

Yes, and it worked excellent, linky. IIRC I think it was the cold side that I had modified (enlarged the hole and changed the angle of the outlet). If I were doing it again, I would pay extra to have v-bands welded on the hot side as shit would come loose after a couple of hpde sessions.
