Dies under high boost won’t restart

2008 ms3 full exhaust from headers back, intake and not sure what else. Bought the car as a project car for my son and now I’m stuck with it lol.

Driving it around it runs good for the most part, did a full pull the other day and under high boost (19psi) car cut out completely. Rolled to a stop and car didn’t want to start. Hooked up scanner and showed no codes but fuel pressure showed OL and 2078psi. I am assuming it went into engine cut with the high boost but isn’t the pressure kind of high?
Car wouldn’t start, waited couple hours and pressure dropped to 700 and car started up again. Drove it around since then but not hard and no major problems, then got a CEL for lean idle.
I am not sure if there are HFPF internals so I ordered a kit. Ordered a Cobb tuner from Freak, ordered a new O2 sensor and planning on changing turbo inlet hose.
My question do I need to change the HPFP solinoid?
Thanks

Pretty sure that pressure means you pegged the sensor. Dont change any parts until you figure out what is wrong. Do the pressure relief valve test since it seems like it is stuck

So I did the test and the pressure would climb to 1700 or so and stop, then hold there. Didn’t try to replicate the fuel shutdown situation since.
The other day my son takes car and adds fuel system cleaner( because a friend told him) now when I run the test the pressure will be around 330 and not climb at all.
I ordered a FPR valve and intend to change it anyway but could this be a sign of a different problem because pressure won’t go up? No CELs or codes other than the occasional lean at idol still

The pressure is supposed to climb then release. The fpr is likely bad

Changed the FPR, not fun at all! lol. Old one held when I tried to blow through it. Ran the test again pressure stays at about 460 and doesn’t climb. Motor water temp got up to about 160, was I supposed to get it hotter??
P2187 lean at idle still pops up occasionally.
Have not tried to boost it past 15psi don’t want to push it. Any more help greatly appreciated!
