I'm guessing he's talking about the compressor cover inlet. The one picture is kind of blurry, might just be some bad quality.

The inlet taper inside while the other on doesn't taper.

Are the OD on the inlets the same?

Bryan confirmed it's a "revision". He stated that he always do small revisions on every turbo to gain efficiency.

Also early turbos have 17psi spring and later ones have 20 psi wastegate spring

New one is not tapered where the 1st revision has the taper

So what size ID coupler do you need to connect your intake to the v1? To the v2?

Still the same size. Need a 3" coupler. Its just the way he machined the inside

So the inducer diameter on the compressor wheel is much larger on the v2, apparently.

I just ordered the bnr s4. How do i know what spring pressure i have.
Run a base map with zeroed out wastegate duty cycle. That'll also show you if you're creeping, but that generally happens more/gets much more prominent when it's cold outside.
