Despite my daily driver build being a low buck effort,
https://mazdaspeeds.org/index.php?threads/a-a-joe’s-cheap-assed-cx-7-daily-driver-build.7865/ I didn’t want to skimp on critical parts. I wanted OEM parts and with Edge’s reputation in the Mazda forums, I felt confident ordering from them. I purchased the Edge Autosport OEM VVT kit with the Massive Speed Timing Tools Kit, Mazda OEM serpentine belt with an OEM a cam friction washer and OEM camshaft sprocket bolt. Once the turbo removal started an OEM coolant banjo bolt and 2 OEM coolant crush washers were ordered. Everything fit perfectly and despite being a cheap ass in other areas of the build, I won’t have to worry about the parts from Edge.
Thanks to the staff at Edge for their patience with a total noob when ordering parts and my questions as the build progressed. Sorry there isn’t many pictures of the parts installation.
Box fulla fun kit.
