Extremely High Intermittent Knock Retard

Recently I've been getting some very high knock retard values, upwards of 7 and 8 degrees. This development is a few days old, and I really can't reproduce it at all. It happens seemingly randomly (so it was a pain to even get a log for, but after trying for a few days, I did get it).

Just wanting to see if anyone can tell if there's anything sketchy going on here just based on the log. Immediately what jumps out to me is the wastegate duty and injector duty cycle pulling up as soon as the KR starts to arise, but I don't see those necessarily being signs of anything.

Here's the log: https://bin.mudfish.net/t/318-0764-6498

When this happens, I can feel the timing being pulled. Feels like a normal pull that then just hits a wall. And then 5 minutes later this'll be gone like it never happened. Prior to this I would max out at 0.35 or 0.7 degrees.

I've got a built bottom end, but still stock k04, for ~21-22psi on this map (though usually I'll hit 25). I'm catless, use a Damond Motorsports/Mac 3-port EBCS, still stock TMIC. Fresh step colders.

The only thing I can think is injectors/seals (or both). I also did get a new BOV 3ish weeks ago, but I doubt it would be that drastic of an effect. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Edit (07/12/24): to anyone else who has this issues, it was either the injectors or seals. Not sure which exactly, but I went ahead and did both, and haven't seen any KR since.
