General Suspension Forum or where?

So, the MS3 and MS6 don't share any suspension components and it makes sense to separate the specifics of each chassis. But, there are some general things that do apply to both chassis' and many other chassis supported on this site. @Nliiitend1 has a PSA thread that would fit into a general category, @ConeKiller is probably going to have some things that fit here, and I'm going to post a thread that applies to many chassis'.

Would it be better to have a 'general' suspension section to house these types of things, or should we create a thread in a chassis specific area?

I feel that if it's something that could be used across all chassis then keep it together i..e doing your own race alignment, as the How To set up part would be under general. Then have a link within that thread for chassis specific adjustments to the car.

This way, the basic setup can be seen and a discussion for he setup can be maintained in that one thread. Then the other threads can be used for discussing the chassis specific. This way there would be no questions of "is this for the 6 or the 3?" Or so I would like to hope.

Think of it like a technical manual. For example, my VVT thread, the thread should have links in it in the beginning for how to remove the intake, battery box, fuel pump, and anything else that is not directly related to the timing chain actuator and guide arms. Then each of those threads can have their own discussions.

I'm on my phone but I hope this makes sense.

I wonder if the cross-cutting threads about suspension could be locked to gear heads, and serve more as an FAQ than anything else.

That way, people asking questions about their application would have to choose the 6 or 3 sub forum, but just consulting for general information (not creating a new thread) would have a single place to go.
