Help with purchased 2007 Speed3 GT

Hi Guys,
I am looking to buy this 2007 speed3 GT. 119k miles.
I am looking for a "daily" car, just lite errands to and from probably 10k miles in a year or so.
Will this be reliable? Its a older car, im not used to that but can fix most things that arent really expensive.
He says all it needs it shocks, and passed smog recently.
Im hoping to not end up in a money pit. Ill have a mechanic check it out before purchase.

Can i get some feed back? Options? What to look for? How does this car look to you? Guys saying $6500

The hood alone tells me it was probably modded - poorly. Haven't met a single speed owner yet that didn't thrash a car when that hood was present. I autocross with a guy that has self-tapping screws holding on his bumper and boost leaks to high heaven on his 3rd motor.
