help with slave cylinder

hey! so i’m bleeding my clutch and i snap off the bleeder screw, no biggie, new slave cylinder, new slave cylinder goes on and i keep bleeding, whenever any pressure builds in the clutch line and i depress the pedal the line pops off of the slave cylinder, wondering if this is because there’s still air in the line or if my line is toast, any help is appreciated , i’ve been at this for almost a week now

There's a metal retaining clip that holds the line in. Make sure that's reinstalled.

it is. i’ve tried 3 different clips and none of them seem to work, i’ve ordered a new line and will update when it arrives
