Glad you joined and look forward to seeing the manifold on your car! I will say from your mod list that be ready to max that fmic core if you haven't already lol

We will agree to disagree as we both know that isn't true lol

Like one person in the history of mazdaspeeds has spent the money to get a good enough core and take the time to baffle it in correctly in order for it to actually be an upgrade

And the super high horsepower guys are doing it because they need the airflow through and will just take whatever cooling it provides

That and haven't we seem 500 HP on an ets tmic?
I know 400whp is obtainable and considered efficient on it.

That being said that CX racing fmic fire is comparable to the stock tmic easy to deal to it a treadstone tr6 or 8 core as it works with the same piping just may need some new core mounting brackets ( jbr makes them).

If we're going to continue to derail this thread in fmic vs tmic we should really go to the tmic vs tmic thread and continue the discussion there.

I swear there was a more technical thread with some data from enki but I cannot find it right now

Yeah definitely able to make power on them I would just assume they aren't as effective at cooling considering they are on the hottest place possible almost lol

Ducting and airflow is way more important than location
