Proud owner of a 2006 Speed 6, has 174K miles and a salvage title... good friend of mine is repairing the light front end/driver side damage. Not sure why it was salvaged, motor runs strong no knocking at all it’s really quiet at idle and so far no lights on the dash (fingers crossed)
Haven’t been able to take delivery of it yet since I’m about 2hrs away and he’s finishing up on the hood. Already ran a carfax and looks like consistent maintenance was done by 1st 2 owners up to 138K miles, 3rd owner is a mystery... unless someone recognizes the car and can help fill I get the 36K mile gap? LOL!!! Seriously though let me know if the car looks familiar!

Picked this list up mostly over the years of stalking the forums and I realize that these vehicles need to get to a solid baseline before mods. Especially since I’d like to get back into SCCA Solo II and start doing hill climb events.

Planned mods: Stage 0
- Timing chain, gears, VVTI
- intake manifold cleaning with catch can and EGR delete
- NGK 6510 plugs
- HPFP (Corksport)
- COBB Accessport
- All fluids changed and flushed including PTO, Trans and rear diff
- clean injectors, and throttle body
- Rotors and pads, SS braided lines (probably rebuild calipers too)
