Leather wrapped knob

Recently received my CS leather warpped shift knob, and felt a quick review would be nice.

I kept putting it off, until recently trying to freshen up my car. In San Antonio, TX, everything in the car gets super hot to the touch during the summer, and determined a metal knob probably wouldn't be a good idea.

I looked at the CS knob as a good, almost OEM looking replacement, since mine has become worn looking.

The knob arrived and I really like it. Great plush feel, slighly heavier than the OEM, and just enough additional style to where it doesn't stand out too much.

I feels really good in your hand, and my favorite feature is the added width. I won't go as far as saying it helps with shifts or anything, but it definately improves driving experience and comfort.

Thanks Corksport for the quick delivery of great products, and the extra goodies you guys sent me.

Edit: I just installed the interior LED kit, I ordered at the same time as the knob. Lights look great, freshened up the interior, makes it look more modern. Included instructions were great.

Nice review. I may look into that.

I have a metal knob and i have to use a koozie over it when it's hot outside.

If I didn't already have and love my JBR heavyweight knob, I'd be looking at the CS leather for sure. Too bad the ebrake handle is only for second gen. Also a big fan of the interior LED kit; really changes the feel with the bright white, rather than dull yellow lighting.
