So I finished this setup last week, just wanted to share.
made out of 3/4'' MDF board

I used brads and wood glue then sealed the inside with standard silicone. stuffed with batting to account for the box being on the small side. I intend to replace the older JL with a shallow depth Kicker that requires less airspace. I removed the factory sub as well hoping to improve sound into the cabin?
Sounds pretty damn good for still being a factory deck. A lot louder, waay more clear and consistent sound now, although wish I had picked black carpet lol. Future plans include new door speakers and a nice dual din with hydro dipped trim pieces and dash kit.
