Multiple door lock actuator issues

Bought my first mazdaspeed yesterday. It seems like all 4 door lock actuators are either dead or almost dead. When hitting the lock and unlock buttons the back two barely move and the front don't move at all. I hear most actuators try, but little movement.

I did some searching and didn't see many threads at all regarding issues with them. Unless the mazdaspeed is different from every other car I worked on, seems like every actuator is the problem. Since the button trys to move them, I'd rule out a electric problem.

Is there a big problem with these? Any other tips for me?

Its unlikely that all of them failed the same way at the same time. So look up stream? Could it be a power issue on that circuit?

Yeah but it seems like some try. I probably need to listen for noise at the ones that don't move at all. Or check 12v power to it. I saw both rear door locks budge a little so they must be getting 12v. Pain in the butt...got some other issues with the car too.

Power and ground are first to test. Maybe the battery is bad.

My driverside window master switches were acting up at one point, lagged sometimes and one window would respond whenever it wanted. I pulled out the assembly, took it apart, cleaned the contact points under the switches with alcohol and let it air dry. I haven't had issues since.

Great info to know. Thanks for sharing. And for those needing to replace their actuators or interior door handles, the interior handle assembly can easily be removed. Don't fight the cables with the handle in place, remove the handle first. I fought the cables for an hour
