New AEM CAI filter 21-2029DK from Damond....kinda huge.

My ancient OEM CAI filter was starting to look a little fuzzy afer 20 years so I ordered a replacement dry filter from Damond Motorsports. 70mm diameter inlet. The inside of the original filter looked fine but I didnt wanna take a chance.





The thing barely even fits in the space. Its at least 2 times as long as the OEM CAI filter and pushes right against the inside of the bumper

First things first. Holy OG return, @Lex2007 !

Second, AEM made the intakes for Mazda. I personally would use the SRI option for it.

Lastly, what is all that on the filter? Did it just fall apart after so long?

My old one looks about the same. Its just from years of washes.

Hey Raider! How ya been?!?!?!

Yup years of washes makes it fuzzy. I'm worried it will split on me and Ill get something nasty in the intake. Didnt wanna take a chance.
