From Lockport NY. Picked up an 07 speed3. Hope to have some fun soon with an etune. Any recommendations? I've been talking to Dizzytune about reaching my goals.

I did something with your sticker too

Oh noes, I got disliked. Maybe I should have said "recommendation" rather than "suggestion". Or maybe I should have said "read, read, read... and THEN don't ask vague, open-ended questions."

It's perfect. PM to discuss ENM butt touches.
Unfortunately between my roof leaking on my house and my picking up a new car I will be unable to attend this year's enm. I know there is a midwest meet that might be doable. We could totally plan for that.

crapatalk it sucks for free

Understandable! Maybe we and Tommy can get some round-robin butt-touches going then.
[doublepost=1492048396][/doublepost]To the OP, if your question was which tuner, the answer is it doesn't matter that much between Freek, Hypnotic, Dizzy, Purple Drank, Nishan. There may be stylistic differences, and there are always arguments between the camps but in the end it's pretty much like warring with another religion over your imaginary friend being better than theirs. Any of them will do a good quality job as long as your hardware is in decent shape. Hence the reason your question is sort of moot if this was it.

If your question was more like "what should I do with my car" then without a discussion of your goals, preferences, budget, and current state of your car no one can really tell you anything useful. Hence the reason your question was vague if this was it.

At the most basic level, if it's all stock you need an RMM. Buy Damond, cpe "stage 2", or the new corksport "stage II" (they aren't really stage 2, the designs just came later). If you want to make more power, you probably need HPFP internals, though on your gen1 you can get away with a few light mods without. Dizzy should be telling you the same thing about the latter though.

Anything beyond that is down to cost, preferences, time, and effort. The more you put in the more you will get out -- of this thread, your car, and the community.
