Hello Mazdaspeed community. I'm a car guy, but also a Ford fan. I have an old 69 Mustang (in pieces), 05 F150 4x4, a 2020 Explorer ST, and I recently picked up a 2007 MS3 as a fun commute car. It has a bunch of miles on it (almost 190k), but I hope to put a bunch more on it. This MS3 is a "downgrade" from my EcoBoost Mustang, and the MS3 is also the first manual I will have owned in about 10 years. The MS3 is essentially stock and I would like to keep modifications to a minimum. It has had some maintenance by previous owner including PCV Valve, EGR Valve, valves media blasted, coils, and spark plugs in the last few years, but I plan to do a timing job on it soon as there is some chain slap on startup.
