Hello everyone!

Just picked up a 2008 MS3 as my first Mazda, and my first turbo car! It's almost completely stock, but I plan to keep it that way for the most part. HPFP Internals, RMM, OCC, and maybe an Access Port are my only planned upgrades for the near future. I'm looking forward to learning more and joining the MS3 community!

Here's some pictures from the CL ad, its still snowy in WI so I haven't taken any good pictures of it myself yet.

That Lyft mileage. Stock turbo is usually on it's way out around that time, so keep an eye out for smoke. Hopefully the guy didn't thrash the car although it seems like most people do. Accessport is your best friend for troubleshooting stuff, so that would be a great first mod. Even a V2 just to have some visibility would be great.

Congrats on your first Mazda and welcome to the forums! Speed3s are fun even in stock form, so have fun with it.

Welcome, duder! Where in WI? I'm in Madison witha red genjuan.

CL ad says new turbo, VVT, etc so maybe the former owner knew what he was doing with it.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

I'm up in Menomonie, so the Eau Claire area. I frequently go to Milwaukee/Chicago, so I've definitely spent my fair share of time in your area.

Previous owner was an ASE certified, former army mechanic, so I'm fairly confident in the work. Had receipts for almost everything, and photos for a lot of the rebuild process. Everything runs great so far, no odd noises, smoking, etc. Definitely a big upgrade from the 99 Civic it is replacing haha.

Sounds like you picked up a good one.
