Yeah hello everyone new to the Mazda speed scene. Looking to build a street sleeper. The speed 6 seems to be the best platform for my build. Very rare car only made 2 years , AWD, GDI Motor I am confused that Mazda was not awarded 1st Di engine In production. That was given to Ford in 2010 I am curious as to how the Mazda Di is timed as when the the injectors are fired. It seems all the big builds are still low compression But The stock fuel system is only capable Of 400 HP So I am assuming the secondary fuel system system is needed and low compression low compression Cut down Knox. My goal is 6 to 700 horsepower Hence Mazda 6 with 6 speed and 600 horsepower My boss gave me the bug when he Had me work on his 1000 horsepower 65 Chevy impala OMG the rush Nothing is like the torque of a big block Chevy His street sleeper is a built a 1000 Horsepower 2017 denali PU That is a daily driver and AWD It is very quick off the line But a heavy truck engine is a lingenfelter built and tuned 13:1compression gdi with 14-16 psi boost. My 1st purchase after buying The MS6 was was the Cobb tuner and fuel pump internals I'm trying to find information information on building the the HPFP to reach 2000 PSI I also purchased the Tredstone 1035 intercooler is intercooler from the person I bought the car from I also have the set of mainly H-beam Tough rods I am also searching Information on Di piston design But have given up on high compression low Boost build I am waiting to get the engine out Into the machine shop Before I order the pistons. I am searching for someone that does CNC porting on the head I prefer The equal flow that CNC porting provides Over the standard hand job. And the cost of paying somebody To flow test completed Porting. Searching but have not found numbers on stock head flow numbers But they gotta be out there somewhere. I found it local machine shop that will cut the crank for keyway and plan on ordering The gears and Balancer That are already cut from SP63. I am still undecided on intake and exhaust manifolds and turbo. The precision 6264 seems to b best option but am searching info on cts6 corksport turbo due to price but u get what u pay for.

Welcome. You have a lot of reading to do. There is quite the mod path to achieve the 600 you desire including auxiliary fueling.

Welcome! You're not going to be getting that hpfp pressure up or any after market injectors so yes your options are going to be aux fuel I would recommend aux fueling for you, port injector using a SS controller. Also I'd recommend only tuning with freektune or purple drank.
That PTE turbo will be the better option over the corksport one for your goals. For intake manifold I'd seriously look at the focus ST manifold with the damond motorsports adaptor as it makes PI easy, JMF is a good option but flow is more top end power, focus flows well throughout, corksport has an intake manifold on the market which is promising, as for exhaust manifold if you can find one CPE is the way to come, CS has a promising option unfortunately CS manifolds are in high demand and low production and COVID means CPE has stopped casting our manifolds.

Yes have been doing a lot of reading already choosing the vehicle. Ford rs every one expects it to b Simi fast to fast. Wrx just cannot tolerate the exhaust tone. Although the 6 cyl does sound better. I have been driving a 07 na 3 for the past 8 yrs and it's been a fun car to drive but now I am ready (financially) for more power
I do like the cs intake with long runner design for street drivability and price but fmj is proven performer in 700 + hp. The CD exhaust manifold looks strong and a changeable turbo flange is grate for upgrades but is stock mount only. Do not know advantage of top mount turbo other then eye candy. Anyway I am wating on manifolds due to availability and need long block built first. Thanks for the TJ thread lots of info.
