I always hated how the AccessPort OBD connector completely blocked the little storage area in the genpu’s. What? A man can’t keep some tissues handy? Back a few years I didn’t see many options but found one on Amazon. Recently I searched “obd ribbon adapter” and a ton popped up. So more common now. Anyway, been using a ribbon adapter for a few years and wanted to pass the review along. Haven’t had any issues with it and I can still use the little cubby hole. Pulled the panel above the cubby hole with the DSC button and routed the ribbon adapter thru, connected to the AccessPort OBD connector and zip tied all that shit up. They can be found on Amazon for less than $10. Don’t need a super long one.
This is not gonna work.

OBD ribbon adapter with plenty of ribbon.

Pulled the panel with buttons and fed the ribbon connector thru and routed by the drivers fuse panel.

Zip tied the ribbon and AccessPort connectors together.

Storage cubby is back.
