I used the search feature, but 'oil pan replacement' and several other combination of words resulted in not finding what was needed -- or a search that failed because of too many common keywords.
I was not able to find a good source for how to drop and replace the oil pan on a '10 Speed 3. After some searching, with bits of info here and there, I decided to just get down there and start doing it and if something 'out of the ordinary' was needed it would kind of become obvious.
Got the pan dropped, everything prepped, and as expected.. can't get the new pan into place since it is sandwiched between timing cover and trans. I found a write up on a CX-7, it appears that I need to loosen the transaxle to allow a bit of wiggle room for the new pan. Are the several steps, removing HPFP and the likes, needed in order to get that extra room?
Easier alternatives?
