Getting a P0012. The car sat about 2 years with minimal driving as I was getting alot of oil loss and didn't have the money or time to deep dive to find out. So first thing I did was new oil change and filter, VVT Solenoid, along with new spark plugs, new valve cover gasket. I also did a compression test that game back good, 175-170-175-170
From what the chain looks like it doesn't seem to be stretched. My main question is how to tell if it's skipped? Should I just do a VVT chain replacement?
Also I have this hose that's been leaking/spraying since driving and trying to reset the code. Unsure what it is or what it's suppose to look like etc. So I didn't wanna snap it by pushing on it.
