08 mazdaspeed 3 So yesterday I got to work and noticed that the display screen that shows hvac information was blank, popped fuse box cover by passenger side footwell n check radio and illumination fuses but all where good, go under hood to check fuses there n all good, go to put the ignition switch on and the screen is back on, crank the car and check engine light is on, not throttle response, hook up scanner and get p2101 code for throttle body, erased codes and reset battery and nothing, can the throttle body just happen to go bad out of nowhere or did I mess something up while I checked fused for the display situation? Double checked everything I touched and everything looks good, can anyone point me in the right direction please…forgot to mention that it also has a misfire now too like a bad spark plug, coil work but cylinder is not firing, also happened wen I went to start it after checking fuses

Spaced for readability.

All electronic throttle bodies basically have two of everything for safety reasons, so if it's not responding at all (you can either log or remove some stuff and have someone look at the blade for movement) when you operate the pedal, then maybe you did mess something up in the fuse box.

Dam this forum is dead af, can anyone at least point me to an active mazdaspeed forum
Bro. You ever sit back and actually read what you wrote and maybe say.... "Damn I can't even read this shit, how could anyone else?"

Don't be a douche.

Roll back all the things you did. The car worked before your infotainment display went blank, then you started unplugging things. Now things don't work. What could have possibly happened? You probably loosened up something when you got into the main fuse box. Go back and recheck your work, pick up a dictionary and a subscription to hooked on phonics, and try to be nicer next time.

OP, sometimes new posts get missed, it's unfortunate but it happens. checkout the pinned thread in this section it has a template which might make your post more readable.

if it started randomly maybe the fuses are fine but you have a wiring issues perhaps time for some continuity testing? if you're not familiar check out the how to section there's a post about it
