Preload adjustment in CorkSport CST4 IWG

Hello guys Will from PD just told me to adjust my preload actuator for the wastegate i just have a question can i just adjust the arm without disconnecting it from the wastegate because it might be a pain in the ass to take off and put back on. I seen from another forum that he just loosen the bolt and adjusted it from there. (CTS4 turbo) thanks
 
What turbo? I think CorkSport even has instructions for this.
