Split Second R4 Configuration

I'm getting real close to firing up the car for the first time. I currently have my PI stuff completely unplugged and I'm just using the stock fuel lines for now to get my initial base map set up.

In the mean time I wanted to get my R4 base map configured. I've asked a few folks about this, but haven't gotten any answers. Google gets me a little info, but I figured I'd post here and see if anybody else can chime in with some info.

My base map is set to run as an additional injector controller and is set to use MAF Volts. Under Engine Settings it's set to a 2 cylinder 2 stroke so that it'll spray fuel for each spark event. There are two other options menus Output Settings and Aux Input Settings and I'm not sure if I need to adjust anything in these windows.

I know most of you guys don't self tune, but if anybody knows the answer to this, I'd greatly appreciate it. The actual tuning side of the R4 looks very basic, so once I get these options set correctly I should be good to go.

Remind me tonight and I can check and see how mine is setup. I haven't touched the r4 software in a while aside from adjusting the actual map A and B fuel maps on it.

Thanks man, I'll hit you up.

Will do tonight after work. Forgot last night as I fought a replacement broken Hpfp hard line on my car

Any chance to make the info public? I wouldn't mind knowing more about how these are configured. I completely understand if a tuner wants to keep it private though.

I would say no for now, out of respect to my tuner. He gives me the opportunity to mess with my own maps and share some info if it helps, but otherwise, I'd rather not push it

If you check google msf has some spread sheats for spitting out base r4 maps. The hardest part was getting the right fucking serial to isb drivers to read the goddam thing.

Right on, thanks for the response.
