Let me tell you a little story about a aeromotive 340 drop in pump sucking my basket dry.
In 4th gear doing a log started at 3k and was ripping and when I got to 7700 rpms I sucked my basket dry (had a little over 1/4 tank) I leaned way the hell out, were talking 17:1 AFRs at 7700 rpm while wot. needless to say I'm lucky I have pistons inside my block still but here is a little mod I did to help fuel return to the basket.

I swiss cheesed the basket from the top down and left the bottom 3-4 inchs alone, so it still acts like a sump like it should. yes I went overkill but when you see 17:1 afrs you would too, I hope this helps anyone who has ran into this same issue.
