Hey guys im new to the forum and pretty new to new modding i plan on getting the 72mm upgraded throttle body by corksport as well as the high pressure fuel pump internals do i need any supporting mods? besides a tune after each

Fuel pump internals doesn’t need a tune. I don’t think the throttle body is up there with suggested first mods.

Consider a rear motor mount, or rear sway bar? If you are looking to tune, then an intake and turbo inlet pipe are the usual first mods too.

Skip the TB for now. HPFP internals, downpipe/exhaust, intercooler, a good tune will have you noticing a bit more power.

I would suggest just getting a bunch of stuff together first then installing all at once to save money on the tuning part. Otherwise every time you have to have it redone that's a touch up fee.

Whalecum!

Definitely skip that throttle body it really does...almost nothing unless but power with upgraded manifolds and you want a tune to actually get it set correctly.

I'd go hpfp, intake, downpipe and tune that will make some good power, can add a intercooler if interested but definitely get a rmm upgrade (Damond Motorsports for all mounts) before you start adding power. Rear sway bar (white line imo) is great too

Welcome to MSO!

What car do you have? Any pictures?

What's your current mod list?

2012 Mazda speed 3 stock “besides intake” I plan on front mount inner cooler and open mouth bumper to see it and then coil overs rear sway bar and motor mounts and we’ll see from there I also wanna get a battery box/ecu relocation and a billet overfill container to clean up the engine bay

All nice things.

As others have stated, HPFP internals first rear motor mount and downpipe before anything else. And a fine to to follow.

Damond motorsports makes the best motor mounts around.

Corksport (my personal preference) or Auto tech fuel pump internals.

There really isn't a bad way to go for downpipe. More personal preference than anything.

And then the tune: purple drank or freak tune are the big names who have been doing it the longest and have the most experience. Either of them would be a great choice.

I really don’t wanna do internal work quit yet tbh since I’m very new to modding! But I’ve also read that these motors can hold decent power on stock internals, and I also don’t wanna go from stock to insane power I wanna slowly grow with the car if that makes sense I don’t want it to be to powerful since already stock this is my fastest car so I wanna slowly grow with it if that makes sense however I really do wanna do the front mount intercooler because with the open mouth grill it looks badass also “I’m not worried about tune price I know it’ll cost more to slowly build with it but it’ll ease my mind” do you know if I’m going to need a tune for the front mount inner cooler since it’ll make the charge pipe longer

Not built motor internals, HPFP internals, high pressure fuel pump internals.

These https://corksport.com/mazdaspeed-high-flow-fuel-pump-internals.html

If you don't do this before you mod elsewhere you are prone to blow up. Get an access port too.
Ohhhh my bad like I said I’m quit new when I read that I thought you were giving me a brand for motor internals! And the guy I bought the car from actually gave me a Cobb accessport “still in box” will I need a tune for the front mount innercooler since the charge pipe is going to be longer?

Welcome! I have tons of mods and I got the CS TB when it came out many years ago. The e-tune I got did smooth it out some. I did get better acceleration with it. Still running it today.
