Today I finished off the "motor mount project" by having the CS TMM insert installed by my favorite Mazda Tech named Drew. I am pleasantly surprised by this addition.
In review, I have a 2010 MS3 GT with about 87,000 miles on her. I have the CS Stage 2 RMM, the Damond PMM and now the CS insert in my TMM. This one is the "icing on the cake".
I am amazed that this inexpensive insert cut the NVH induced by the new motor mounts by at least 50%! Who knew! I have virtually no torque steer and no wheel hop on take off and in the pull in 3rd or 5th gear. Very nice. While I was learning to live with the NVH of the other mounts, there was an irritating vibration of my rear view mirror and garage door opener on the driver's side visor. Small price, I figured. Well, that vibration is gone.
I am a very happy Padre driving a really awesome car!
