I found that the gasket on disassembly had caused a bad spot in positioner.. When I rebuilt motor and was breaking in. Odd operation of throttle, and engine response. Of course it's a total rebuild so expected some things. So in troubleshooting this I found a answer to, what is stroking when key off?
I knew likely throttle body area that's were the noise was around, but this short vid proved it.
A side effect was finally did a mod from this>> https://www.mazdaspeeds.org/index.php?threads/johnnytightlips-build-maximum-carnage.7025/page-20
Took awhile to find (Google search vs duck duck, duck won) Knew was here in the vault some where.
This helped tremendously with crazy very low idle, 1/4 throttle response. The jbr 3.5 trupath intake has almost no MAF flow numbers around minimum flow rates, so honey comb straightener really helps.
