Valvoline Restore & Protect

Am trying this for first time. Lots of hype around it. 176k mile on my baby.

Walmart is cheapest place to get it.

Need to get exact mileage but its likely less than 2000 miles on this oil. 5w-30 Restore and Protect

Note I've had this car since new and I'm at 170+k miles. Oil changes every 3-5k miles. Always Mobile 1 in the past.

Had a strange effect from this oil.

• Never had so much oil in my catch can before.

• I had oil pushing up through the dipstick (I think, because I cannot find any other leaks and the electrical connector near the dipstick had oil on it.). Maybe 1/2 -3/4 quart spit up and then flowed down the the oil pan etc...maybe from full catch can?

• My used oil had never been so black, especially after so few miles.

• Filter was not clogged with any thick stuff. Just very dirty.

That's the idea...round 2 ....Im gonna drain at 1000 miles.
