What do you think my MSP is worth?

I'm not selling it (yet), but I swear I've seen a bump up in MSP prices lately and it got me wondering. I saw one on my local craigslist for $6500, but it had some ugly mods and about twice the mileage as mine.

2003.5 yellow MSP. Never modded, under 75K miles. Runs perfectly, and has NO issues whatsoever. A few minor dings but that's about it. Never wrecked and never even been on the track. This has been the wifey's daily driver for over a decade. She works nearby, hence the low mileage.

The only thing I've touched on it is Corksport intake/intercooler hoses, an ATP wastegate actuator and I 86'd the stock headunit for an Alpine.

Any idea? I'd probably be stoked on the 6500 the one guy wants for his, but....I dunno. Keep it or sell it and buy a Genpoo?
 
You have stupid low miles, pretty unmolested. I would honestly ask 5 grand down here and take 4.
 
Pretty low mileage and clean. Its really depends on your market area bur 6.5k isn't crazy considering the mileage, rarity, and condition. Most end up selling 3-5k with around 150k on them. You also might want to mention if it has the stock diff or upgeaded one.

Stock everything. We never had any issues with the dif, but we've also never turned up the boost.
Hmm, I still like the way it looks and it runs really well.
The only thing really wrong with it is I've had it for so long that it's getting...like stale, or something. I want something else, but its gotta be better than the MSP and that's still kind of a tall order, even almost 15 years later.

Remember when the MSP beat the IntegraTypeR for quickest time ever recorded through the cones by Sport Compact Car mag?

Very clean. I've always had a soft spot for these, wanted one when I was 15/16 back in 2005/2006 but out of my price range as a teenage kid working part time in high school. One of the better looking sport compacts of the time compared to the EP3 Civic SI hatch and Sentra SE-R.

Stock everything is good in most peoples eye unless they know about the weak diff that tend to break. I broke mine around 5k rpms in 1st gear while getting on it at stock boost. Oddly enough I was still able to drive\limp it home ever so gently with a broke diff.
 
The MSP has never been much of a quarter miler. More of a cone killer, IMO. :) I've never launched the car like that, and never had any kind of problem with the differential.

It's hard to think about changing the dif when it's been trouble free for 70k+ miles.

Its funny you say that because I never really launched my car or did burnouts for fear of breaking the diff. My diff snapped around 120-130k-ish while ripping on first gear after turning out of a neighborhood. I did beat the snot out of the car be really never from a dead stop. Its also been modified and the boost was turned up a bit after getting a new diff in it. I've broke just about every part you can think of except the motor somehow. I'm still amazed that I haven't blown the motor just yet.
