Im almost there, just need to pickup a tank float switch, solenoid and nozzle...
I have cobbled together my first meth system from various sources. I am running the AEM v2 controller and pump but would like to use a Devils Own nozzle.
My car is an 06 Speed6, I have a CS SRI&TIP, HPFP and Race pipe. Currently I am hoping to push the car as close to 300whp using wmi to top up my octane requirements as 91 is the best available. The future plans are to go BNR S4 after I build a bottom end to handle it. It is also currently my summer DD. I dont track, drag or go full R on this car, but it will see a couple blasts a day around on/off ramps and divided highway.
According to the DO site, a 2.3L with 20psi at 5500rpm only needs a nozzle capable of 3.99 (gph?). Considering most of what I will be getting from wmi currently, charge cooling, cushioning and a bump in octane, will a DO4(440 cc/min) be adequate? I have read over the years that we do well with a DO7, but I feel that is for folks who are bolted and looking for fueling headroom...a level I havent attained yet.
Also, AEM suggests a 500 cc/min nozzle for 300hp 10 to 25psi
