Yes. I had to trim the carpet around the mounting points which was quite a pain. If you don't trim the carpet, it won't sit flush against the metal on the mounting points.

If its the same turbo as the Mazda 3 Turbo, the model number for the turbo should be TD04LR4-04H*12HE1T-5. I was told that it was designed by Mazda and manufactured by Mitsubishi.
