I connected the boost leak test to the intake side. I used the How To on MSF. I used an air compressor and was able to push in 15 lbs, according to a vacuum gauge. I have not done a leak down or compression test yet. That will be done this week. I am currently running a second revision map...

I haven't taken my bpv off recently... That I can think of.. But if it has been off for some time now, it wouldn't make sense because I just started noticing a boost leak. It was mid drive yesterday, and I cant build boost for shit. But, just took the bpv off and it's definitely not there.

I completely agree. Will any amount of tape assist in protecting it? Just in case? I have a 51R battery in the stock box right now... I'm thinking about removing the battery box this weekend and trimming the box back an inch or two and creating a new bracket to hold the ecu to the battery box.
No, I only have a RMM at the moment. I'm ordering a TMM next paycheck. That half inch doesn't seem to be a whole lot, but it's better than it sitting directly on it.
I'll get it checked out and post my findings. Maybe it just has a harsh bite that I'm not used to. Maybe it's not slipping as much uing disengagment like I am used to... I am not sure.
