Well after a lot of welding, fitting and more welding, I got the turbo in. A few months ago.
But my car still smokes.... looks like the problem all along was the engine not the turbo. cylinders 2-3 oil rings are bad. Looks like it needs a rebuild but I'm going to try some fixes from project...
having the same problem with mine, Visible smoke when I get on it and after sitting a bit at idle. What compression tester are you guys using? The ones I've used have always been terrible.
What about using this with a flex fuel tune so that it will adjust your tune on the fly depending on your ethanol content. I know there are other after market setups that are doing that.
The veloster pops and bangs from the factory. If it is done right it can fight turbo lag or help spool the turbo for launch control. Otherwise why would they do it in racing applications. They spend milions of dollars on engines and turbos I doubt they would waste money on something because "It...
My MS3 has issues. Lots of maintenance issues. I just want it to be reliable. So I bought a BNR S4 :sweatsmile:
Now that I have this turbo i find out that BNR also rebuilds stock replacements for +- $450. :smash2:
Had I know this I would have done that since my goal is not to make the most HP...
