You're going to get a lot of utility out of it. Great choice by going v8 over a turbo 6. If you ever tow or haul anything, you will understand. Congrats!!!
Our wheel wells are too small, even with your lift. Stepping down to 17s will give you a little more sidewall meat.
You might be able to go with a little more sidewall than total stock diamater, but not more than 10mm's probably. Anything more and you are going to have to deal with rubbing...
That bike pump won't push the volume of air that you need to do a proper boost leak test. You will need an air compressor with a decent capacity. Think at least 3 gallons.

That button is the breather vent for the transmission. It looks like you might have a bit of bleeding coming out of the pivot shaft seal. I would clean up that whole area and see if it returns.

I've got the same issue on my gen2. Power steering, ABS, and tractiontion control have been non existent for almost 2 months. Haven't had time to examine it yet. Been tuning up our truck so I can swap dailies and fix the mazda after new years.

There was. I don't know much else about it, but there definitely was an "atenza" that was gen2, AWD, non turbo, RHD. Not sure for the gen1 but I'd imagine there might be one too.

I considered taking my grinder to some of the bolt cup, that's the only spot where the under piping kit touches. The materials are supposed to be steel, so grinding a bit off for clearance won't harm the structural integrity of that bar.
