    2005 Mazda 3 2.0L Help

Strange. The speed variants do not include these plugs. In fact, from the research I've done so far, I can't find other Mazda3s with this connector from the fuse box. I'm going to continue doing some research to see what I can come up with, but have you noticed any functionality from the car...

Found homeless wire, need to find it a home.

What about the passenger motor mount ground? Is that connected? Those can cause problems, especially since the threads of the bolt are what ground the engine to the chassis. So take a look at that and make sure that ground point is clean.

    Hesitation and Stutter

Yeah, OP cleaned their HPFP, which fixed their problem. I would suggest doing the same if you haven't.

    Hesitation and Stutter

My first inclination here, what modifications if any are done on the car? Was it tuned for the modifications done to it? Next, make sure all of your boost couplers are tightened appropriately. Again, check for leaks.

cant start | new here looking for help

Here's a potential alternative to getting a valve from Mazda directly. Admittedly I don't know if this will be available in your part of the world, but it's half of the price from Mazda. www.amazon.com/Genuine-Mazda-L3K9-13-2J0-Pressure-Valve/dp/B073C4T156 I actually used this on my speed3...

    Honda Sidewinder on Mazdaspeed

Absolutely. There's a Funk Motorsport blanket going on this (side note for anyone interested in running a FM blanket with a TS-1 5862 0.82 A/R, the exact blanket needed is their Mk3 blanket, optioned as a T3 size. I had to email them about this because it's not apparent which one to choose for...

    Honda Sidewinder on Mazdaspeed

Got some work done today. Pulled the old k04 out, pulled the exhaust manifold, mocked up the position of the TS-1 going in. "I'm tired, boss." This unfortunate k04 lost the lottery when it got shipped from CW, because it's had some hard miles put on it. When I pulled the oil return, nothing...

Found homeless wire, need to find it a home.

It's a capacitor for the radio system for gen 1 speeds (3 and 6). If you want the P/N, I can go pull it off my car, but it harms nothing other than audio quality (if you actually use the AM/FM radio, that is). With a crank no start, check the ground on the coil harness itself. If there's no...

    Against all better judgment…

it’s still true. I hate manuals for dailies. :( For what it’s worth, it has some sort of automatic rev matching and hill start assist, so it’s at least better than… just manual.

    Against all better judgment…

I got an RS as my daily. ‘16 w/ 25k. RS2 package, optioned with heated mirrors, steering wheel, seats, nitrous blue. No performance modifications, everything is cosmetic. AWE exhaust, lowering springs, spacers, tail lights, Ford Performance short shifter and that’s it. No open recalls on it, so...

More than anything, check your mass airflow sensor. Make sure it's connected, and that the connector is bottomed out. If you took the intake off (which you likely did for the FPRV), the car will turn over but then just die if there's no MAF connection.

You did the fuel sensor without taking it off? That doesn't change my previous post though, check for vacuum leaks and boost leaks. Make sure everything is connected, etc. There's no reason that before when it had a rough idle that now it magically doesn't turn over.

Check for vacuum leaks, boost leaks, etc. Especially after replacing the sensor, since it's likely you took the intake manifold off.

    600whp Mazdaspeed3

Yeah, methanol is largely unreliable compared to port injection though, and on a build like this, I'd be very concerned running it. Takes one bad pull. To each their own. As for the ST intake manifold, they really don't crack unless you go north of 50psi. 40+ they're rock solid. It's not a HP...

    600whp Mazdaspeed3

This is quite an overbuilt engine for your goals. I'm assuming (and hoping) that this was intentional? You're pretty much just a bigger turbo away from 800, and sleeves and 12mm head bolt threads away from 1000. Making 600 on a speed is extremely easy and cheap compared to a lot of what was...

Well the part you'd replace is actually the relief valve on the side of the fuel rail, not the spill valve itself or HPFP. https://edgeautosport.com/mazda-oem-fuel-pressure-relief-valve-mazdaspeed-3-2007-2013-mazdaspeed-6-2006-2007-cx-7-2007-2012/ Those guys. You can pull one off of a CX-7...

Yeah, that's a spill valve code (which presumably you disconnected). It should definitely still run though, even without the spill valve. Case in point, see attachment. If I still lived in SoCal I'd just drive to you to help you out lol, used to live in Oceanside. This is pointing me more...
